OSZE: Guide on Gender-Sensitive Labour Migration Policies
![osce](../../../../cms/upload/bilder/archiv/osce.png)
Aus der Einleitung: "Labour migration has become one of the most visible and vital concerns in ensuring stability and economic progress, national welfare and social cohesion for OSCE participating States; it has therefore moved to the top of the policy agenda in many countries of origin, transit and destination. However, little attention has been given to the fact that more women, as active contributors to the economy in countries of destination, are leaving their countries of origin than ever before, and are experiencing this process differently from men. (...) The Guide aims at presenting good practices and providing tools on how to shape gender-sensitive labour migration processes. (...) The Guide focuses on the fact that female migrant workers often experience different disadvantages in comparison to men at all stages of the migration process, due to their status, to the nature of the employment sector and type of educational requirements as well as stereotyped role of men and women.
